Unless you have been living under a pretty little rock, than you know all about RMS Beauty\u2019s Living Luminizer<\/a>. This little gem has been my go to skin savor for years<\/i>, but now I find myself gravitating towards RMS\u2019s entire line. Not kidding, this is all I am really using right now. Rose-Marie Swift has been a make-up artist for over 20 years. Her work has been featured literally everywhere<\/i> from Vogue (American and all the internationals), W, Harper\u2019s, Numero, Interview, and Elle. Her make-up has appeared in ads for dozens of campaigns including Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton, Thierry Mugler, The Gap and Victoria’s Secret. She has worked with all of the biggest players like Gisele, Miranda Kerr, Milla Jovovich, Mario Sorrenti, Mert Alas, Marcus Piggott, Hedi Slimane and Terry Richardson. Let\u2019s just say she is major<\/i>.<\/p>\n

\"Rose<\/a> \"Rose<\/a>Several years ago, Rose-Marie began to experience some health issues that were causing many problems physically, mentally and emotionally. She discovered that the cause of her issues was the cosmetics that she had been using for so many years or herself and her clients.\u00a0Rose-Marie realized that she wanted to help other women claim their right to healthy beauty. I am trying to do the whole cream\/ liquid only makeup thing these days, which is why RMS is all I need. He line is totally cream based. I am totally in love with the \u201cUn\u201d Cover-Up<\/a> and the Lip2Cheeks<\/a>. They\u00a0are pretty much to die for. The Bronzer<\/a>\u00a0is my newest obsession, and I have recently learned the art of sculpting using my fingers. I also love the Eyeshadow in Magnetic<\/a>. Annie Atkinson: What led you to create RMS Cosmetics and what is the philosophy behind your all-natural and organic brand?<\/b><\/p>\n

RMS:<\/b> After many years in the fashion and make-up industry, I\u2019ve learned a lot about the impact of daily exposure to chemicals in beauty care products. Without healthy skin, we are vulnerable to the effects of everything we encounter.<\/p>\n

RMS Beauty products are formulated with raw, food grade and organic ingredients in their natural state, allowing their living, healing attributes to penetrate and rejuvenate the skin. All RMS Beauty products are free of harmful chemicals, synthetic preservatives, synthetic vitamins, and genetically altered ingredients (GMO) etc.<\/p>\n

AA: It\u2019s hard not to notice that you have gained a heavy MODEL following. I mean, checkout your Instagram @RMSBeauty<\/a>. Why do you think that your model clients have found such a connection with RMS Beauty? How would you describe their beauty and skincare routine and what are some of their favorite products? \u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

RMS:<\/b> The girls started most of their careers listening to me go on and on about living a healthy lifestyle. They would\u00a0constantly\u00a0give me compliments on my skin and I would always tell them that I didn’t use any of those chemical-laden promises in a jar. Because I worked with models everyday as a makeup artist, I knew what girls wanted in beauty products, so I tried to achieve this in my own line.<\/p>\n

I have noticed that the models are very smart and tend to give their skin a much needed break from some of the chemical laden products that are being applied to them every day at photo shoots. The girls constantly tell me that the only makeup they wear when they aren’t working is RMS Beauty. This new generation of young models seems to be extremely intuitive when it comes to taking care of their skin and what they put in to their bodies. Their beauty regimen goes beyond just using natural beauty products, but also drinking green juices and eating organic foods. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gisele:<\/b> Her favorites are \u201cUn\u201d Cover-Up<\/a>, Promise Lip2cheek<\/a>, and Moment Lip Shine, which I actually had made for Gisele.<\/p>\n

Miranda:<\/b> Since I work with her so much we have tried every single color on her. \u00a0Her fave right now is the Modest Lip2cheek<\/a> and the\u00a0Beloved Lip2cheek<\/a>.<\/p>\n

AA: Your Living Luminizer is my obsession. Can you give me tips on the best way to apply this? \u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

RMS:<\/b> The Living Luminizer<\/a>\u00a0gives the ultimate natural luminous glow to the skin that\u00a0can’t\u00a0be beat. It can\u00a0be applied beautifully to cheekbones and other elevated areas of the face such as, the brow bone, center of the eye lid for a light-reflective twinkle, along the bow of the lips (giving the appearance of a more sensual mouth and pout), down the center of the nose (which gives the illusion of a longer, slimmer nose), or in the corner of the eyes, along the L-shaped tear ducts.<\/p>\n

My favorite trick is to use it directly on any dark, under-eye bag (apply only to the darker area not the whole under eye area) then add the \u201cUn\u201d Cover-Up<\/a>\u00a0on top. This minimizes darkness and gives a similar result to the YSL Touche Eclat, but not as drying.<\/p>\n

AA: Tell me about your line\u2019s emphasis on coconut oil and the healing benefits from using this all-natural staple?\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

RMS:<\/b> RMS Beauty is the first brand to actually base their color cosmetic line on raw coconut oil. The Coconut Cream<\/a>\u00a0is a miracle product and contains high levels of lauric acid, which is rarely found in nature. Coconut oil actually helps heal acne-prone skin, skin irritations and keeps the skin looking youthful.<\/p>\n

AA: For the daytime, I am all about a clean, glowy and radiant look. Duh. Can you give me the steps needed to achieve this look?<\/b><\/p>\n

RMS:<\/b> To create that look, begin by priming\/moisturizing your skin for makeup application with a very small amount of RMS Beauty Oil<\/a>\u00a0or even the RMS Beauty Lip & Skin Balm<\/a>\u00a0(which comes in cocoa and vanilla!) followed by a little \u201cUn\u201d Cover-Up<\/a>\u00a0for beautiful, natural, glowing skin. Add a hint of Living Luminizer over the lid and cheekbones for that light-reflective glow. Something as simple as a light\u00a0wash of the new Lip2Cheek in Demure<\/a> is the perfect shade of pink and can be used on both lip and cheeks. You can’t go wrong.<\/p>\n

AA: What is your all-time favorite beauty trick?<\/b><\/p>\n

RMS:<\/b> My favorite beauty trick: “Less is more.” Too much makeup does not look good in real life.<\/p>\n
