The color of the Marni blurred lip, described as &#8220;dried blood,&#8221; would have been quite bold if applied in\u00a0a\u00a0traditional manner, carefully staying in the lip lines, and possibly traced with a lip liner &#8211; but this lip was different. It&#8217;s genius.\u00a0The\u00a0soft application of color creates a look that&#8217;s almost out of focus. It&#8217;s the perfect solution for those who are scared of a super dark lip or who want to try something edgy and modern. <strong>The key to achieving the Marni blurred lip is\u00a0<em>blending<\/em><\/strong>. Make sure to choose a creamy lipstick formula, apply color in the center of the lips and blend outward using your finger or a Q-tip.<\/p>\n<p>For those of you interested&#8230; at Marni Makeup artist Tom Pecheux used\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.maccosmetics.com\/product\/shaded\/168\/916\/Products\/Lips\/Lipstick\/Lipmix\/index.tmpl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">MAC Lipmix in Crimson<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.maccosmetics.com\/product\/shaded\/168\/310\/Lipstick\/index.tmpl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">MAC Lipstick in Hang-up<\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.maccosmetics.com\/product\/shaded\/168\/310\/Lipstick\/index.tmpl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">MAC Pro Pigment in Basic Red<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m\u00a0buying these today, obviously.
