I’m still obsessed with Marie Kondo\u2019s tidying craze. Her book The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing<\/a> continues to sit front and center on my bedside table, a reminder that there is still so much that I need to get rid of.<\/p>\n

If you have not read her book, you must<\/i>. It’s a great read that\u00a0proposes physical and emotional clutter might be more connected than we think. Kondo also takes readers through her revolutionary method of simplifying, organizing and storing in a way that makes it seem actually possible.\u00a0You are instructed to hold every single item and ask yourself, \u201cDoes this bring me joy?\u201d Well about 80% of the items in my bathroom did not in fact bring me joy. After dedicating a Saturday to this major purge, I am blessed with something that is very rare here in New York \u2013 space<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Finally, I can make room for the products that really matter, like the new cult beauty buys editors are buzzing about.\u00a0These are the products that you’d recommend to your best friend, \u00a0your neighbor and maybe even your boss. Kat Burki Vitamin C Nourishing Cleansing Balm <\/b><\/a>\u2013 These days I am all about cleansing balms and oils. They are all the rage. They remove dirt and makeup better than all regular cleansers with their soft and silky texture. Kat\u2019s balm is lighter than most of the others, making it great for spring. It\u2019s also packed with Vitamin C to leave your skin glowing.<\/p>\n

Ellis RRose Excellent Body Milk<\/b><\/a> \u2013 I love this brand. The packaging is heavy so you know you\u2019ve found something well-made. The line started with candles and just launched a body collection. RRose smells just like you\u2019d think: floral, addicting, rich and expensive. There is nothing commercial about this line.<\/p>\n

Tata Harper Purifying Mask<\/b><\/a> \u2013 Finally Tata has created a followup to her massive global success, the Resurfacing Mask. This new \u201cdetox\u201d product is like a juice cleanse for the skin. It gets pollutants out of the pores for real, which has been proven to help with the anti-aging process. The more crap in our skin from the air, the older, more tired we look, so this mask is a game-changer.<\/p>\n

Ouai Hair Mask<\/b><\/a> \u2013 Leave it to @Jenatkinhair<\/a>,\u00a0hair stylist to the stars, to create once of the chicest and most effective haircare lines to date. This single serving mask (great for travel!) leaves your strands super soft and in just one treatment. Jen suggests working the treatment through your stands before a sweat session (like the gym or spa) and letting the heat help penetrate the hair.<\/p>\n

Byredo Rose of No Man\u2019s Land<\/b><\/a> \u2013 Byredo is the ultimate cult fragrance brand. I’m a fan of all of their scents, but this newbie is extra special. Turkish rose petals, pink pepper, raspberry blossom, papyrus and white amber come together to make the most intoxicating smell.\u00a0 The bottle itself is a modernist work of art.<\/p>\n

Guerlain M\u00e9t\u00e9orites Base Perfecting Pearls<\/b><\/a> \u2013 Guerlain transformed their famous M\u00e9t\u00e9orites compact powder into a liquid form, resulting in this beautiful, skin-priming radiance booster. It blurs imperfections and gets the skin glowing fast. You can use it alone to easily achieve the no makeup look or under your makeup for a base.<\/p>\n

Tatcha Kyoto Red Lipstick<\/a><\/strong> – This lipstick is like a piece of art. The exterior packing \u00a0is so precious that you almost hate to part with it.
